Donner Summit is just that, the top of a mountain and it catches the most snowfall of any other place.  The annual average inches of snow in a year are over four-hundred.  That makes it the snowiest place in the whole of the USA.  The highlight of this neighborhood is the label it received, ‘treasure’ because of the endangered species of life in the forest.
